well this is my first time… I’m sure I have never heard this song before, but I’ve made a melody that sounds almost the same like Spiritual’s base melody couple of weeks ago… strange…

@Demonwave5434 There’s the key, he said “friend”, Johnny considered most everyone a “friend”, he and Elvis were the occasional “Hey how’re you” kind of friend, John also observed everyone around him, so yes, this was how he saw Elvis, and frankly, his Elvis was probably the best one. They were not very close, in reality, they were probably as close friends as a clerk and a customer in a dry goods store.They were not close. They might have been “friends” but they were not close friends.

Same with Waylon and Elvis. They appreciated each other, but were by NO means friends.
The only two out of what you said that were close were Waylon and Johnny, they loved each otherl like brothers, Johnny even called Waylon his “bloodbrother”.

I’m glad that he is dead. Not because I’m cruel, I love the man and his work. I have 14 CD Albums of his. I’m glad he’s dead because June died, and I don’t think he would have ever got over her death. We’ve lost our man in black, but the Lord has gained two worthy angels.
