Question by Pat: Why do I get itchy spells in the the groin area; especially at night?
it started recently, well, more a lot like 2 weeks recently. i cant figure out whats happening. my dad dad that its just a phase and he discloses the topic. the problem is, i am over my puberty age.. so what kind of phase am i going through now?
p.s: i am not sexually active, therefore HIV or any other sexual diseases should/or maybe not related.

It could be chronically dry skin. You may need to start applying lotion to that area. It could also be there hair down there causing you to itch.
You don’t have to be sexually active to get various infection (guys get yeast infections too, and some others) it could be bacteria, skin fungus, etc…these things love warm sweaty places and sex is NOT the only way to have an infection “down there”. Just tell your dad it’s really bothering you and you’d like to see a Dr. Probably a simple cream can clear that right up.

You may be allergic to your washing powder. It makes sense as the area you itch most in is the area that you clothes sits closest too! If you wear pants to bed, stop this until you have washed them in a different washing powder! xx
