Ok gents a little update with 3.2 I’m unsure if inteligence is now the god stat for most healers as some of the fights in ToC are quite long, also due to the replenishment nerf. I suggest gemming for Mp5 for resto shaman these days. Anywho enjoy!

I have an orc shaman he was a resto but i changed to enhancment he is 48 soon 49 but gamecard has end but yesterday our healer leaved and i took on my healing gear then i healed my friend 2237 is that much for an lvl 48 enhancment shammy?!

  • zsazal says:

Usually it’s raid heal since we have chain heal. But theoretically you could be single target with Riptide, Lesser Healing Wave, Lesser Healing Wave combo working. I don’t know the build that’d be to make that work best though, I haven’t been shaman too long.

  • nightbind19 says:

i have one question are shaman use to raid heal or single target heal?

  • skrova07 says:

    Draenei. 🙂

  • ultrawazza says:

whats your race orc troll tauren or drenie

  • blackmob1010 says:

Write me back if u want real Shaman healing tips
And if u want to be top of the meters and still have 60% mana at the end of the fight

  • TheOMGboy says:

    what addons are you using?

  • lightdarkness8 says:

int stam and mp5 also you need some crit but that usually comes with the gear and LOTS OF HASTE!

  • ThePaladinOfLight says:

go for mp5, int, spell power, haste and crit rating.
and for god sake use a shield and not a off hand fancy thing the extra armor is really worth it

  • mushman05 says:

what stats should i look for resto-shammy?? i always run out of mana but i dont have really good gear im still 67

  • terrorxcrew874 says:

Great video bro, just getting into healing from elemental myself, nice guide.

  • luckyluke793 says:

I’d go for druid because while ur doing damage and healing you get to have fun changing forms as well

  • RiverOfMind says:

Hi, It really depends on what style you want but any race does (Minmaxing might have a few combinations though).

Think about the style you want.

Druid – Raidwide strong Healing over time.

Priest – Strong Preventative Shields or Big Raidhealing in Bursts.

Shaman – Toolbox healer, strong singletarget and chainheal.

Paladin – King of singletarget, pretty spammy. Relatvily easy.

  • FrostByte38 says:

Which healing race/class would you recommend for a first-time player?

  • Cetrus says:

Great video man! I got a 80 Shaman aswell and I think your tips are really nice. I’m gonna write em up and keep practicin for perfection. One thing though that bothers me is: Can we mainly heal the entire raid, or are we more effective at healing 1 specific group (like melees) etc? And what should I think about in my rotation of spells? What’s needed in different situations and such.
Last I most ask what’s the name of the black frame addon, where the text, spells are located?

  • PhoenixFirewolf says:

Hmm, almost looks like the same addons and setup I use.
For triage, if you have raid frames set to display damage taken and not life left, then you don’t even have to think about it. That what most healers don’t get.

  • helloguy829 says:

Hit 80 before you comment, no offence intended

I am rerolling a priest or a shammy deciding atm..

  • RiverOfMind says:

    No U

  • sythshowedu says:

    Your gay?

  • VengefulSpoon says:

HoTs take time to make a real effect, if your tank is in danger of dying you need to get a big heal on him quick and then put the HoTs on. – No point putting HoTs on him if he is about to die 🙂 –

In that kind of situation HoTs are a back up, or effect to buff your big heal (on a druid) – Then roll your HoTs to keep him up until large spike damage then throw another truck of health at him.
