With all the scuttlebutt and yapping over health insurance reform I think most Americans heads are spinning. It seems President Obama is pushing, at all cost, the approval of a plan that puts the government in control of your health care choices. Will this spell the end to health insurance in Texas? Bottom line, a big fat YES! And I will promise you this Texas. Within a short time frame people will die from limited treatment they are now afforded to receive, and your taxes will explode to pay for this power grab.

Obama has dropped the gauntlet that this matter MUST be resolved before the upcoming vacation our lawmakers will be taking. Why? Simple, if he waits until after congress comes back to work his chances of approval are slim and none due the increasingly unpopular this idea of government run health care is becoming. Ram and jam, thats this president?s message, the faster it gets done the less likely he will be forced to prove his payment methods and how the program works. I remember the C.O.B.R.A. package he passed a few months ago. According to sources Obama had things written down on sheets of paper with no guidance at all, just throw something out there, get it voted on by the liberal loonies and let someone else figure it out. There are Texas health insurance consumers to this day still not understanding what happened and how it works.

Health insurance in Texas consumers need to know a few things about this new socialist health care system. First, my friends you will loose all control of health care choices. With his ding dong idea of cutting Medicare fees to help offset cost it will destroy older Americans ability to receive treatment. At present seniors have a challenge in finding doctors that will accept Medicare payments. Less and less doctors are willing to take the reduced schedules Medicare and Medicaid pay. Just watch, same thing will happen for the under 65 market.

I will also promise you that insurance companies will crumble and vanish from the face of the earth. Private health insurance companies can not compete with the federal government. No one can. They have something no one else has, the ability to both print money and raise taxes to cover any shortages. Also, how well does the stupid government do at managing their present government run programs? Just look at the U.S. postal service, the DMV or for god?s sake, Medicare and Medicaid. Heck, Medicare has one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel.

With the destructing of private health insurance companies the unemployment rate will skyrocket. There are thousands and thousands of people employed in the distribution, marketing and administrative positions tied to this Texas health insurance donkey.

Now we sit, waiting for Mr. Yes We Can to gut the American capitalist system. Long live the King!
