Question by diamond_light2000: does anyone know a genuine shaman to train with in peru? NOT tourist shamanism.?
I have lots of experience in shamanism and ayahuasca. i want to find a genuine shaman to train with in peru. Any ideas?

Usually they only train people of their own family. Also, few are the good shamans that actually made a job with their skills. Most of them live a normal life and dress like normal people.
If you want to learn about the ayahuasca you’ll have to go to the Peruvian rainforest (try the city of Iquitos) since this is a ritual performed by the shamans of this region. Another place to look for powerful shamans is the Northern region of Peru. Try the states of Tumbes or Piura. I’d also recommend you to visit the lakes known as Las Huaringas. It is sid that its waters concentrate a lot of spiritual energy. Because of that shamans from all over Peru and other countries go there frequently to recharge their energies.
