This is the highly requested third installment of my PVP movies – made for entertainment adn good music (if you like that sort of thing) All my mods are listed and described in the clean UI interface movies which you can find on my other movies list. The music is a collection of music from a DJ called Aaron Simpson – google his name and you will find it. I use PVE gear in PVP as pretty much everyone else does – that and the PVP gear is terrible. I tried hard in this video, being number 3, to include figths that were more 1 on 1 or maybe a 1 on 2 or a sequence of fights. I do like mass battles, but I know that many are finding deathknights op (and they are) – so I tried to capture some DK fights as well. Finally, I also put in a small section of 2 handed windfury fun – I only recorded this bit in the space of 1 hour, so not much in the way of crits, but it was more fun than I thought it would be! Here’s my guild doing 25 man Saurfang… wanted people to see Ele DPS with a 5802 GS, i came in fifth this fight with an avg of 9k+ kdps.. you can see my DPS meter on the right hand side. Enjoy. If i wanted advice on my rotation id ask… im not one of the best elemental shamans on my server because i have a bad rotation. Never seen another elemental shaman beat me. Realm is Nathrezim.

this fight is not a good example to test elemental shaman dps. using CL on this fight is a easy way to get your dps up as you have multiple targets, something which most bosses dont have. CL is not that beneficial into a rotation unless there is an extra target and which is why in some fights elemental falls behind than other ranged. then again you can have other factors such as if you have a demo lock’s spell buff you are able to use ur fire totem about an extra 500 dps. know class=good dps
@WoWappmaster no it wasnt 25% bud.. nice try at being a smart ass but it failed, this is when its 5%. you can tell because of my crits, fail baddie is fail.

@1playwow lol.. this was then there was only a 5% buff.. my lb’s currently crit for 16.5k+ as well and im in the same gear, just cuz u crit high doesnt mean ur good :p

Of course this guys not doing the amount of dps that “we” (im sure he is too if he plays still) do by now. Simple because he couldnt obtain the same pieces of loot as he can now and the % buff (also this guys ui looks really messed up but thats another story). So stop qq please, my shaman does 25k+ lightning balls too, but this is a nice video and nice dps considering when it was posted.
@YeaItsMeJoshDotson hah, considering now theres a 25% buff i can peak 13k easily on this fight too, who cant. this was when the buff was 5% bud :p

well peeking 11k on this fight is kind of easy i peak 13k on this fight with about 10k constant. switching to adds is easy. u dont have to move as much as u did. just frost shock eb thunderstorm. u did way too much moving

agree with alot of these, nice vid mate, although yeah you dont need to use chain lightning much, it it quite a good spell if u use it right though 🙂 i can overall 10k in icc 25 on this fool, its not hard, although i have 3.3k SP + only 1100 haste with totem stacked at 5, i need more haste! 🙂 but yeah, try it out without spamming chain lightning every cooldown and see how it goes? 🙂 btw i’ve just got in the 5.7k in gs… its all about skill, not as much gear.
@Zolkz1Zneew HOWever. its very eazy 2 get ur CL down under 1sec with haste procs like totem relic along with other trinket procs and elemental mastery and bloodlust. As long as your CL stays above the GCD its good, even in single target dps.
@Trashbagboy1 In a Without muradins spyglass or the haste relic my current haste/sp stats are (with totems) 908/3172. Which means 1,12sec cast on chain lightning and 1,49sec on lightning bolt, (so CL nearly 1/3 faster). This means, that if it shall be viable in single target it needs 2 do more than 1/3’d less dmg. My calculations from an avarage LB/CL crit gives from LB: 5705dps (if all LBs crit) and 7166dps from CL (if all CL crits) (DPS not achual dmg). CL does more dps crit/non crit than LB.

CL is a waste on single target, its ok to throw it out when the adds spawn, if you’re not a noob and have the 4% LB glyph it will do more then CL therefor you don’t need it on single targets. I have done 10k dps as ele sham with out using CL except for the add spawns.
