Why is one Magic Spell stronger than another?
Apart from a personal skill or intuitive flair, is the amount of training and familiarity, which makes some-one more able to cast more potent spells, than another person.
A major portion of that experience is mirrored in the amount of emotional energy and individual strength, that a spell caster is able to broadcast into the Universe during the spell casting. The spell needs to be energized with stacks of personal energy, but that force can only be transported on a vehicle of strong feeling. Some are more skilful at casting this energy combination out into the Universe, but everybody can learn with training.
Since what you give out to the Universe returns multiplied, every tiny increase of power radiated out causes a huge difference to the success of the spell.
That’s how the spell caster can get so much power. Every tiny added you give out makes a huge difference to powers up what you get back.
That’s what happens with the actual spell. It has a certain power entwined with the words of the chant. That power was put in there by the original Magician who created it. That force can be diminished or amplified, according to how the spell is used.
Starting with how you acquired the actual spell. If you acquired it with great effort from a Mentor whom you provided a service to or served, the spell will have tremendous power.
Even better is, if you have a hereditary spell from a Master whom you served as an Acolyte. Upon the Maste’s demise, all their energy comes into the spells, where it mixes with your own forces and gains more force.
So for a beginner, the most advisable idea is to purchase a grimoire or an individual spell. That is more valuable than obtaining one from a friend.
