In conclusion, Tarot reading emerged in Europe in the Middle Ages and may have been connected to China. Other Chinese inventions such as acupuncture were ridiculed in the past and have now been recognised as a benefit to some. Tarot reading may also gain this recognition in the future.
Psychological concepts may point towards how Tarot reading works but Tarot reading could have some psychological benefit to those with an emotional support element missing in their coping strategy.
