Hell is real. Hell is not real. Everyone has something to say. Who is right? Well, it impossible to know for sure. Where do we start? Lets put the idea of Hell to the test. Is the idea of a literal Hell – a horrific destination for unbelievers – consistent with the concept of a Just and Loving God? To those who think that a literal Hell makes sense – I hope you will gain a perspective that will help you realize that Hell is pointless and thus represents a fictional idea. In either case, I welcome your input. Some points of my argument are: 1. A minor side point: Adam ate the “apple” (fruit of knowledge) not knowing YET good and evil. Yeah, but no one told the Mayans. If someone did, they’d become Christian. And in fact, when Europeans did tell them, they DID become Christian. (Although force also played a role).
The only reason why babies dont go to hell if because how young they are you wouldnt except a 6 month year old baby no what your saying if you telling him about Jesus. It wouldnt be fair the baby because they have no clue what your saying to them. A baby cant just say Jesus I accept you as my savior. I’m pretty sure some one told the Mayans because like you said if they didn’t get told the word then that wouldn’t be fair.

Yeah, but all those Mayans didn’t hear the word either. And if a baby doesn’t go to hell, and goes to heaven then by your logic the inhabitants of countries with predominant faiths other then Christianity (or nonreligious ones) are better off dead when infants. If God saves Saudi infants and punishes all adults then it is not a Fair system – they don’t get the same chance. The odds are stacked against adults.
The only way you get to hell is if you don’t believe that Jesus is the so of God and he died for your sins. You don’t get to heaven by being good. And theirs not one person that wont here the word. Maybe babies, but they don’t go to hell.
@11TheEye11 Have you ever heard of mental illness? Mentally ill people imagine all sorts of things. Also people have dreams even when they are not mentally ill. Anybody can dream up an experience after being through something traumatic.
And what about atheist who are dying and see hell? What of them? They didn’t care nor believe in it in the first place so what of them? They become totally different people. I apologize for drifting off topic-but you can’t just dismiss everyone because its not something you want to believe in. I don’t want to believe there’s child molesters in this world-but unfortunately, it doesn’t mean it isint so.
God has always existed, because you can’t make something(universe/planets/humans/nature)out of nothing. Imagine a magnificent being who never changes because he doesn’t exist in time. That is why the Bible states he is the same God today as he was then. And to me that God is wonderful…the relationship starts in your heart, opening up to him. The voice in your head(your conscience-is from God),everyone has one and is without excuse.

If a person has a dream and thinks its real – they are not lying. We have false memories, and vivid imaginations. And yes, some might fabricate things.
What about all the people that claim to have gone to hell and seen it and met God…what about all those Near Death Experiences?? Are they all liars?? Though you make good points-ultimately, God is in charge-I’m sure he doesn’t send people there(hell)if they lived a humble life and never heard of him. God is in all the good. He does not exist in time…which is why he can see all at once. Simple really.
Is Abraham in hell? I believe that it is faith in our creator that saves us. I believe that he has chosen who will believe in this life, and also, God forgive me, I believe in the end we will all see good things (be saved). Is this biblical. I would like to hear your take. i have had a very good conversation with a random old person that was at my great aunts funeral. :(. she was one of her friends. and she said that she believed that if we don’t do anything that says we will “NEVER” believe or follow God. or if we simply don’t even know God or have any chance than we “reincarnate” in to some other life. and possibly into some other time. like from the 2000s and than into the 1400s or something. and than we get another “chance” (onto another comment).
