All suffering results from the following three things:  open doors caused our sinful choices in thought, word and deed; natural consequences of a real world; and the sins of Satan our invisible enemy.  There must be a balance and the allowance for the mystery when seeking to understand the correlation between God’s sovereign reign and our human free will and the connection to the painful issue of sickness and disease. Christian ministries focus on bringing clarity and balance to individuals so that they can recognize the truths necessary for receiving spiritual healing and thus natural healing.

Satan is the author of evil and he comes to steal, kill and destroy; God is not the author of evil or sickness and disease. In heaven there is no sin or sickness or suffering. In heaven there is total surrender to God.  Our lack of surrender or the sin in our free will (sinful choices) can give the enemy open doors to bring sin and the consequences of sin into our lives. (Romans 6:23) The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Spiritual healing begins with recognizing that we have a free will that we must choose to surrender to God. As our free will is surrendered to God we will see the enemy stopped. The enemy is determined to bring us sickness and disease, to steal our love, peace and joy but we can choose to operate our free will and to come into agreement with God’s truth in our attitudes, thoughts, words and actions.
