Answer by Just Ask Me…or Don’t
Absolutely. Go to http://www.witchvox.com and find a Pagan festival near you. You will nearly always find Shamans at Pagan Fests. My hubby follows the path of the Shaman.
Go to Amazon.com and look up the book by Penczak on Shamanism. He’s awesome.

There are still shamanistic religions, mostly in the eastern regions of the world. But a lot of Native American religions were shamanistic, so yes, I’d assume there are at least a few.
My brother practices a lot with shamanism, and while I’ve not looked into what he does, it works for him.
In the US? I doubt there are many.
Shaman belong to Neo-Paganistic Religions.
Mostly in Europe I would guess. (Ireland, England, Spain, Northern Countries like Norway, stuff like that. Anyplace that was Baltic, Celtic, or Norse).
Edit: Oh right, native Americans too. My bad, sorry.
There’s at least one practicing Shaman…after all, quantam physics rocks.
=)
Yes there are hundreds (if not more) shamans in the US today. Witchvox is a good resource, as well as Michael Harner’s studies. Check it out at http://www.shamanicstudies.com
