i just bought them but they have no instructions.

When you buy a deck of tarot cards they typically come with a book.
Different decks may have different meanings for the same card, but they are always similar. So a deck comes with a book to explain the cards.
It go through each cad and explain what they mean etc.
There are also just plain books you can buy that will help you out, or beginner decks that come with beginner books. Try this site, it may also help you.

Usually they come with a small booklet with a brief meaning. I think a good intro book is Idiot’s Guide to Tarot by Arlene Tognetti & Lisa Lenard. I’ve been reading tarot cards for almost 20 years and I think that is a good book for anyone interested in learning they give good tips and good meanings to the cards.
