  • mighty.macabros says:

Shamanism is a broad term describing all kinds of different faith practices. The symbol for Zen Buddhism is a red and black yin-yang. Taoist symbol is a white and black yin-yang.

    note-

not dodging Shamanism question, you just have to clarify which kind of Shamanism you are talking about.

  • Lana says:

Shamanism is a way, an approach, a methodology to being. The paradigm of a shaman is to engage in a dynamic, hands-on relationship with the flora and fauna of the environment in addition to communing with the energies of the universe to manifest healing results that materialize within our present linear construct. Thus, symbology will differ as between various groups of indigenous shamanistic cultures.
