The Bible Myths ( Part I ) Following the Path of Logic to Paradise!
A writer builds their story around a theme that is designed to stand out in the mind of the reader. If someone were to try and remember a story they had heard a long time ago and draw from memory in an attempt to re-write it, they would not remember all of the details of the story but the main theme. So it was for the stories of the bible.
No one knows the time periods that these stories recorded in the bible actually took place, some have theorized a number of dates and era’s but the truth is that no one really knows! Logic can tell us many things about history if one were so inclined to look. For example; when we envision the ancient Vikings, we see barbaric ocean marauders, like pirates, raiding villages along the sea coasts and rivers of ancient Europe, wearing helmets with horns protruding from the sides.
The ancient Vikings were fierce warriors but I can assure you that they never went into combat with helmets so vulnerable to being knocked off of their heads. These helmets were ceremonial and so when we read ancient descriptions, the writer who might have made mention to this in the original writings was not quoted directly by those who re wrote these stories from memory or possibly even translated from ancient texts. Language changes so frequently in our history that one generation can barely understand literally the language of the last. Can you imagine the translation issues we have attempting to translate something that is hundreds or even thousands of years old? Often logic is not part of the writers’ agenda, even when the object of the writing is non-fictional!
Man has never been so primitive so as not to protect themselves from injury or death to the best of their ability when they went into
Following Jesus- Not Just A Myth
Myths are what our early and primitive world was built upon. Myths are primarily folklore or legends that a particular culture believes to be true and that often use the supernatural to interpret natural events and to explain the nature of the universe and humanity. I am not disturbed when similarities between pagan gods and Creator-Consciousness are mentioned. I embrace the ONE GOD, and I am a follower of Jesus, who became the Christos.
I am not a follower of:
>The Anointed One who was born December 25 to a virgin.
>The Lamb of God whose birth was in a manger, announced by a star in the east.
>The Good Shepherd whose birth was attested to by three wise men.
>The Teacher who was baptized at age 30.
>The Miracle Worker who performed miracles, walked on water, and raised the dead.
>The Fisher-Savior who had twelve disciples and was transfigured on the mount
You see, those six descriptions come from the many ancient Mystery schools and speak of an Egyptian deity that lived THOUSANDS of years before Jesus. His name was HORUS and he had a human body with the head of a falcon. I could list many more similarities (dozens); however, one of the most interesting is Horus was also called the Krst (pronounced Christ).
Many Christians get defensive when it’s mentioned that Jesus was NOT born on December 25th or that the date is a pagan holiday. Why?
Many ancient deities have December 25th as their birth date. Jesus isn’t alone in this nor do I believe Jesus was born on December 25th. The date has special
Question by lemon_lorrain: Consider the following situation: You’re living in Canaan and you as a female have been selected as a k’daisha
A “k’daisha” is a woman who for two weeks must serve for two weeks in the pagan temple participating in fertility rituals. Now your son for his initiation into manhood must have sex with a k’daisha…
Islam was founded as a religion against pagan beliefs. So, why do Islamic terrorists PUT FAMILIES AT EVEN MORE RISK than the pagans did…how can you blame Israelis for wanting to protect their families when the Islamists don’t want to protect theirs! Do not do to others that which is offensive to you!
I’m NOT insulting Islam–I am saying something about its interpretation by the guys with the guns who are now the high priests in the temple!
The pre-Islamics were pagans, and now they are Muslims!

Following The Footsteps Of The Pharaohs
Egypt is where history first emerged. It is here that we have the first pictographic record of events and persons. Hieroglyphics, the system of writing used by ancient Egyptians can be traced back to about 3200 BC. At about 3180 BC, the nations of Upper and Lower Egypt were brought under the rule of a single king titled Pharaoh. The first Pharaoh is thought to have been Menes, who set his capital at Memphis, 22 km south of Giza in today’s Cairo. The Pharaohs established the systems that brought forth the highly successful Egyptian civilization.
The history of Ancient Egypt lasted for about 3,000 years. Ancient Egypt declined, was overrun and thereafter ruled by foreign powers. The Greeks and Romans who ruled after the decline were aware of the great similarity between their own gods and those of the Egyptians. They not only tolerated Egyptian religion, but also expanded existing temples and dedicated new ones to existing cults. Some of the new overlords, Alexander the Great for example, styled themselves as divine priest-kings in imitation of the Pharaohs.
Emperor Theodosius, who reigned after Christianity became the state religion in Rome, extinguished the last remnants of the living culture. The Egyptians worshipped hundreds of gods – a great offense against the monotheistic religions; whose first article of faith is that there is only one God. Theodosius decreed in AD 391that all pagan temples in the Roman Empire be closed. The Arabs, who brought Islam to Egypt in 640 AD, also had no time for deities such as Anubis the jackal, Horus the falcon god or even Amon the king of the gods.
Ancient Egypt was dead for one thousand five hundred years, until the French came across the Rosetta Stone in
