Well You can also say that we are all part of one big circle? Circle of friends? Metaphysical? Like minds? Can science prove the concept of power and control?
Observations?
What do you observe that other people can’t understand? Most likely metaphysics for them, but the concept is so real for you?
Everyone does this this, don’t they?
Don’t we all use metaphysics, even the scientists?
While they are creating “theories” before the theory is a formal one, in their deep thinking states of wanting to understand?

I don’t believe in power, Falcor. Sure, there are people with more money, more fame, more status than me, but does that mean they hold more power over me?
I believe in attraction. What one might think of as power, is simply a strong attraction by a majority. That doesn’t make it more powerful than the minority.
The Circle you are talking about is not all uniform as you are saying. We’re all part of the universe, and all have similarities, but there are differences throughout.
I am sure that science could try to prove power and control, but it’s like anything else it has tried to reveal… There is always an exception.
Thinking of the universe, and it’s strangeness is something common to nearly all humans. We all have our oppinions, and believe what we believe.
